4 of the 6 weeks deliberately focus on pronunciation. Sounds you learn correctly in the beginning will save you months of relearning later!

  1. Week 1
    Vowels and Aspiration

    You'll learn every Korean vowel and say your first aspirated consonants (ㄱ ㄷ ㅂ ㅈ ㅅ)

  2. Week 2
    Compound Vowels and more Aspiration

    We'll practice the sounds that help Koreans know exactly the word you mean.

  3. Week 3
    Compound Vowel Drills

    We'll spend a full class drilling compound vowels until they feel natural!

  4. Week 4
    Double Consonants + First Sentences

    You'll master ㄲ ㄸ ㅆ ㅃ ㅉ and start building real Korean sentences. (Example: 학생이에요. I'm a student; 앉아 주세요. Please sit down.)

  5. Week 5
    Asking for Things Politely

    You'll learn how to say polite requests in Korean (Example: 갈 수 있을까요? May I go?)

  6. Week 6
    Pronunciation Check and LEVEL UP!

    A teacher quizzes your sounds one on one. Pass and you'll move up to the next level!

After you complete the Korean Mouth program, you can sign up for our Novice program and LEVEL UP!

Mr. CalvinFounder and teacherI've been a teacher for over 15 years (starting with 9 years as a credit counselor and 7 years as a dance instructor). I wanted to share my culture with the world and so I used my teaching experience to create KoreanLearnin. I've taught Korean for over 5 years now to over 1,100 students. I understand the struggles English-speaking students face when learning Korean. We break concepts down in English first and every rule comes with the reasoning behind it. You will never hear "it is just because it is" in my class!
